- אֲצִיפָא, אַצְפָאm. (v. צִיפָּא) matting used for bailing dates, cmp. חוֹתָל. (Oth. opin: the flesh sticking to the stone of half-ripe dates. Gitt.89a a woman was betrothed בא׳ דתוחלא (Ar. אצפא) with (an object of no value).
